  There was an eerie silence hanging about. The dark hung over you like a mysterious shroud and covered you. If anyone even knew you were there, it would be surprising. But then again, you were short and young.   As you dashed through the dark night, you looked for a place your could believe was safe for the night and maybe scrounge some food from a dumpster nearby as any other night.   Only then did you run into a young lady who was carrying food and knocked both of you to the concrete.
